Malin Head and Inishown Peninsula
Inishowen Peninsula, the largest peninsula on the island of Ireland, has everything to offer…going back to the seat of the over-kingdom of Ailech, to the site of the Donagh Cross (St Patrick’s cross), to the origins the well-known hymn “Amazing Grace”, to the tragic story of Ireland’s famine years, to the northern-most tip of Ireland, Malin head.

Malin head in it’s turn is the site of the Tower at Altnadarrow (used from the time of the Napoleonic wars as a look out to prevent any French invasions); the viewing point for the Basking sharks and resident dolphins; a viewing site from which to see the migrating birds in autumn; and the place at which scenes from Star Wars: the last Jedi were filmed.
A full day tour will include:
· Grianan of Aileach
· Buncrana, Amazing Grace and the Wolfe Tone story
· Magnificent scenic routes
· The Doagh village experience (especially for kids and over the Christmas season)
· A visit to Malin head
· And much more…
